SMVDU: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) launched its Alumni Talk Series on September 1, 2024, with an enriching online event featuring Mr. Abhinav Chadha, a distinguished graduate from the Mechanical Engineering department (Batch of 2014). This inaugural session began with opening remarks by Dr. Yugal Khajuria, Dean of International and Alumni Affairs, aimed at inspiring students by offering valuable insights into professional development and global perspectives.

Mr. Abhinav Chadha, who has built a remarkable career in the consulting sector, shared his professional journey from SMVDU to Italy and Akkodis. His discourse covered critical aspects of career progression, the evolving landscape of engineering, and the importance of lifelong learning. His reflections on adaptability, resilience, and networking in a rapidly changing technological environment resonated deeply with the audience.

The event, held online, saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. An interactive session followed, where Mr. Chadha addressed queries related to job opportunities and higher education scenarios in Italy. The session was skillfully moderated by Ms. Samragyee Shaurya Patel, a postgraduate student of Biotechnology, and Mr. Yuvraj Singh Pathania, both student coordinators of the Alumni Talk Series.

The talk concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, where students engaged Mr. Chadha with insightful questions, reflecting their keen interest and depth of understanding.
