SMVDU Alumnus Dhananjay Singh Donates 1 Lakh INR for SAE Collegiate Club’s BAJA 2025 Endeavour

SMVDU: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) proudly acknowledges the contribution of Mr. Dhananjay Singh (B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering, 2014 Batch), CEO of FrameInn (A Pvt. Ltd. Company), who has donated INR 1 Lakh in support of the SAE Collegiate Club of SMVDU for the upcoming SAE BAJA 2025 initiative.

SMVDU’s BAJA team, the only team representing the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, is set to compete in SAE BAJA 2025, where student teams from across the nation will design, build, and race an electric off-road vehicle in a competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers, India.

Team members and faculty coordinators of the club expressed that Dhananjay’s donation will be instrumental in empowering SMVDU’s budding engineers, providing them with critical resources to foster innovation, teamwork, and practical engineering skills as they prepare for this rigorous competition.

The University’s officials including Prof. Yugal Khajuria (Dean, International and Alumni Affairs), Dr. Yatheshth Anand (Head, SME), Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq (Associate Dean, International and Alumni Affairs) and Dr. Ankush Raina (President, BPA, SMVDU), and Mr. Divyansh Kale (Team Captain), extend their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Singh for his remarkable support and commitment to his alma mater.

In a message of appreciation, Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, lauded Mr. Dhananjay’s dedication and enduring connection with the university, saying, “SMVDU is proud to have alumni like Mr. Dhananjay Singh, whose contributions inspire and uplift future engineers.”
