Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs by offering incubation, idea pitching, fundraising, mentorship, and guidance. We also provide students  education on intellectual property rights to nurture and encourage innovation.

Our vision is to create a thriving ecosystem on campus where every aspiring entrepreneur has access to the resources and support needed to turn their ideas into successful businesses. We are dedicated to empowering students, fostering innovation, and promoting growth in the startup community within our university.

Calling all young innovators!  Savishkar J&K’s UDGAM seminar on May 6th was a launchpad for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to conquer Industry 4.0.

Held with SMVDUTBIC, UDGAM featured the renowned Chintan Oza (Founder of Anantam Ecosystems, IEEE Technology & Engineering Management Society

India Region Lead, IEEE Entrepreneurship, and Founder Institute Regional Director). His session ignited a fire, diving deep into the vast opportunities for startups in Industry 4.0.   We’re talking next-gen fields like cybersecurity, IoT, blockchain, and so much more!

The event commenced with a heartening rendition of the national anthem, setting the tone for a truly inspiring day. 🇮🇳

An introductory session for juniors hosted by the Savishkar Club to spark interest in startups and entrepreneurship. This successful event was made possible through the guidance of Rashi Taggar, Divyanshu Pranjal, Yash Raj, and active team members. The session fostered a strong foundation for incoming talent to embrace innovative ideas. 

A webinar organized by Savishkar Club, SMVDU, under BPA SMVDU, featured Dr. Sanjay Mohan andDushyant C. Kothari as speakers, offering insights into startup journeys. Dr. Rashi Taggar delivered a warm vote of thanks. Led by Divyanshu Pranjal, with coordination by Harshit Pathak and hosting by Pragati Sharma. This event marked a significant milestone in inspiring future entrepreneurs. 

Organized by Savishkar Club, SMVDU, under the Board of Professional Activities, TEDx SMVDU 2025 brought together six distinguished speakers, including Ambassador Deepak Vohra, startup mentor P. Arvind, branding expert Dhananjay Singh, medical researcher Dr. Surendar Jatoth, Brigadier (Retd.) Hitendra Singh Pilkhwal, and civil servant Jagdeep Singh.

The event was graced by Dr. Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, as the Chief Guest, alongside esteemed faculty and dignitaries. Led by Divyanshu Pranjal (Head Organizer TEDx SMVDU & President of Savishkar Club, SMVDU), with V. Yash Raj as Event Manager, Abhishek Vishal and Priyanshi Bhat as Project Managers, Abhishek Kumar Sharma as Logistics Head, Akanksha Siwach as Hospitality Head, and a dedicated Tech Team including Himanshu Kumar, Raiyan Raza, Anurag Aryan, Nitish Sharma, and other coordinators. The Design Team, headed by Gaurav Kumar, played a crucial role in enhancing the event’s identity, while Abhishek Kumar Pandey (Licensee) and other TEDx SMVDU Coordinators ensured its success.

A heartfelt thanks to Dr Rajesh Kumar (Faculty Advisor, TEDx SMVDU) and Dr Ankush Raina (BPA President & Faculty, School of Mechanical Engineering) for their unwavering guidance and support, which were instrumental in making this event a grand success. Their mentorship and dedication truly inspired the entire organizing team.

TEDx SMVDU 2025 proved to be a beacon of inspiration, innovation, and transformation, igniting meaningful discussions and motivating young minds to turn their ideas into reality.
