SAE Club

Our mission is to foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and hands-on learning among  students. We aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications, preparing  our members for successful careers in the automotive and engineering industries.  

The SAE SMVDU Club engages in a variety of activities and projects that offer members a chance to  develop their skills and knowledge. Our initiatives include:  

• Competitions: Participation in national and international competitions like BAJA SAE, SUPRA SAE,  and Formula SAE, where students can apply their theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.  
• Projects: Hands-on projects that involve designing and building vehicles, providing practical  experience in engineering and teamwork.  
• Software Training: Exposure to industry-standard software such as ANSYS for simulation and  analysis, SolidWorks for CAD design, MATLAB for data analysis and control systems, and other  essential engineering tools.  
• Industry Collaboration: Opportunities to interact with industry professionals through guest lectures,  industrial visits, and internships.

CRAWLERS Shine in BAJA SAEINDIA 2025 Preliminary Competition  

In a remarkable debut on July 20, 2024, our team, the CRAWLERS, made a significant impact at the  BAJA SAEINDIA 2025 Preliminary competition. Competing in the eBAJA category, the team  outperformed numerous returning teams, showcasing their technical prowess and innovation. Despite  being a fresh entry, the CRAWLERS scored an impressive 27.83 out of 40 in the presentation round,  securing a prominent position among seasoned competitors. This achievement highlights the dedication,  technical expertise, and collaborative spirit of our team members, setting a high benchmark for future  competitions.
