On the occasion of World Health Day, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) organized a Poster Making Competition to raise awareness about the importance of good health, hygiene, and well-being among students and the wider community.
The event saw active and enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets, who creatively showcased themes such as mental health, physical fitness, balanced diet, cleanliness, and the role of youth in promoting a healthier society. The posters reflected not only artistic talent but also a deep understanding of contemporary health issues faced by individuals and communities.
The competition was coordinated by Cadet Charvi and Cadet Saher, who played a key role in planning, organizing, and executing the event seamlessly. Such initiatives by the NCC Unit at SMVDU continue to play a vital role in shaping socially responsible and health-conscious individuals, in line with the spirit of World Health Day.
