The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SoCSE), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), in collaboration with the E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, is organising a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Introduction to Machine Learning and Deep Learning” from 23–27 November 2026.
The programme aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning among faculty members, research scholars, and undergraduate and postgraduate students from relevant disciplines. The registration fee is ₹500, fully refundable upon completion of the programme, subject to the applicable participation requirements.
