Mr. Jatin Soni is working as Assistant Professor in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu from Dec, 2024. Earlier, He has worked as Technical Assistant in National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi) from august 2023. Earlier he has worked as Junior Lab Assistant in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. (Part-time) in electrical engineering at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University since September 2020. He has worked as an assistant professor in the electrical engineering department at Ganpat University, Mehsana from 2018 to 2022. He obtained his B.E. degree from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM) engineering college and M.E. degree from Lukhdhirji engineering college (Govt.), Gujarat from 2016 and 2018 respectively. His area of research are- Power system optimization, Power system operation and control, optimization technique and hydro-thermal scheduling problems.
