Skill Hub Center at SMVDU:

  • With an aim to utilize the permanent infrastructure and other resources like trainers available at the SMVDU, Katra, The Skill Hub Centre at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) in Katra is a platform to promote the various schemes of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India.
  • The Primary Objectives is: To provide skill development training in order to enhancing the employability of youth.
  • The Skill Hub Centre facilitate :
  • Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 :  This Scheme focusing on industry-relevant skills to develop a workforce that meets current market demands.
  • PM Vishwakarma Scheme: This initiative aims to support and enhance the skills of traditional artisans and craftsmen by providing them with specialized training, resources, and financial assistance.
