Brief About Self

As a passionate architect, city planner, academician, and researcher with over 12 years of experience, I have achieved several notable milestones. I secured All India Ranks 56 in GATE (2009), 06 in GATE (2010), 23 in CEED (2010), and 13 in GATE (2018). In addition to my architectural pursuits, I have appeared for Civil Services (UPSC) interviews four times, in 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014, with Geography and Sociology as my subjects. Currently, aside from my Ph.D. research on the ‘MRTS and Urban Quality of Life’, I am conducting research on Heritage and Water Conservation in the Shivalik Hills of Jammu and Kashmir.

Faculty Coordinator For Projects/ Competitions Done By Students

In 2016, students were participated for the project “The Unknown Place” at SoALD premises under Swachh Bharat Mission of Govt. of India and constructed from the waste and won the Design Excellence award for the Westminster International Design Competition 2016.
In 2017, students were participated for the project “Pagdandi” at Sirah Market,Kakryal under the Swachh Bharat Mission of Govt. of India. The local communities and authorities were also involved for the project. This project was sent for the Westminster International Design Competition 2017 and we were among the top 7 finalist.
Organized a Parallel Studio Workshop for Architectural Design for the 5^th Semester students of the School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi & SoALD, SMVD University students in 2017.
Taught & guided for the GATE exam in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024; and 08, 10, 13, 16, 5, 4, 6, 5, 4 students were qualified in each year, respectively.
Taught & guided for the CEED exam in 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019 and 02, 03, 02 & 03 students were qualified in each year, respectively.
