Researchers Must Focus on Product Development: Dr. Dalal

SMVDU Katra: Dr. Upena D. Dalal, Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Faculty Welfare), National Institute of Technology Surat visited the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SMVDU and interacted with the Ph.D., M. Tech. as well as research students and also visited the lab of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and delivered a talk on the recent technology of wireless communication and networking. She mentioned that 5G and IOT are the emerging area of research in Electronics and also stressed that the researchers’ basic and mathematical modeling should be strong enough for research, and further, the researchers must focus upon product development instead of just simulation. She also attended an interaction session with the faculty of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and discuss about the research activity going in the university. She was thoroughly appreciative of the students’ gentry, the researchers and efforts being made by the department
