Faculty member of SMVDU presented paper in USA

Dr Ajay Koul, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, attended an International Conference on Information and Computer Technologies(ICICT 2020) which was recently held in San Jose USA. Renowned academicians from from Illinois state University USA, Heidelberg University Germany, Qatar University presented their work through keynote lectures in the conference.

Dr Koul presented a research paper, entitled “Semantic Segmentation And Contextual Information Based Image Scene Interpretation”. The research paper discussed in detail the potential of using different methodologies in terms of semantic segmentation and contextual information to interpret the image scenes and highlighted the contribution and challenges which still persist.

The Conference was attended by academicians, researchers, industry and various speakers and delegates from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Germany, India, USA, Jordan and others.
