SMVDU Katra, May 2019. The faculty members, research scholars and students of the School of Languages & Literature at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, bag Sliver and Elite Certificates in the extensive 12-week NPTEL Courses conducted by the IIT Madras & IIT Roorkee. Dr. Amitabh Vikram Dwivedi, Head, SoL&L, and Ms. Ayushi get Elite & Silver Certificates for the courses, titled Feminist Writings and Introduction to World Literature respectively. Dr. Anurag Kumar, Faculty, SoL&L, Ms. Akanksha, Ms Surbhi Sharma, Tushar Sharma and other students bag Elite Certificates for ‘Feminist Writings’; ‘Introduction to World Literature’ and ‘Literature, Culture and Media’ respectively. The faculty members and the students learned a variety of new concepts related to their respective courses, and updated their knowledge. Further, they believe that such courses are essential for the growth of faculty members as well as the students of the institution.
