Dr. Pabitra Kumar Jena Delivers Keynote on Regional Disparities and Viksit Bharat 2047 at National Conference

Dr. Pabitra Kumar Jena, Associate Professor at the School of Economics, Faculty of Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, delivered a Key Note address titled “Regional Disparities and Viksit Bharat 2047” at School of Economics, Gangadhar Meher University, Odisha in the Two Days Multidisciplinary National Conference on “Mapping Regional Disparity in India’s Development Process” scheduled during March 13th -14th , 2026. Dr. Jena elucidated how regional disparities is a major challenge for achieving Viksit Bharat in 2047. He also further explained that in order to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047, what strategies should the Government of India frame as policy intervention as a long-term instrument for achieving the dream of Viksit Bharat in the year 2027 ? Researchers across India from various Universities/Institutions have participated in the Two Days Multidisciplinary National Conference on “Mapping Regional Disparity in India’s Development Process. Professor Pragati Kumar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SMVDU, Professor Ashutosh Vashishtha, Dean, Faculty of Management, Dr. Roop Lal Sharma, Head, School of Economics, congratulated Dr. Pabitra Kumar Jena and wished him a bright future.
