Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) proudly announces that Mr. Meniak Khajuria, a Research Scholar at the School of Physics, has successfully published a research paper titled “Upconversion Luminescence and Judd–Ofelt Study of NaCaVO4:Er3+ Phosphor for Optoelectronic Applications” in the highly reputed Q1 journal Ceramics International (Impact Factor: 5.6). The research work has been carried out under the supervision of Dr. Pankaj Biswas, Assistant Professor, School of Physics, SMVDU. The study focuses on the synthesis and detailed optical characterization of Er3+-doped NaCaVO4 phosphor materials, emphasizing their upconversion luminescence behavior and Judd–Ofelt analysis. The findings highlight the potential of the material for applications in optoelectronic and photonic devices, contributing to advancements in luminescent material research. This achievement reflects the continuous efforts of the School of Physics toward high-impact research and innovation in the field of functional materials and optical.
