SMVDU: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) recognized the outstanding contributions of its security staff in a special ceremony held today. Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, along with Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Registrar, SMVDU, felicitated security supervisors Sh. Balbir Singh, Sh. Jai Singh, and Sh. Rattan Singh for their significant participation in the Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremony held on August 15, 2024, at SMVDU.
SMVDU has a tradition of celebrating national days with great pomp and show, with enthusiastic participation from both the security staff and students.
The felicitation ceremony, held a few days after the Independence Day event, was attended by Mr. Surinder Kumar, Assistant Registrar (Security), and Mr. Mithun Jamwal, Assistant Security Officer, SMVDU. Both officials praised the security supervisors for their exemplary service and commitment to the university.
The Vice Chancellor and Registrar of SMVDU expressed their appreciation for the security staff’s efforts in making the national celebration a grand success, reinforcing the university’s commitment to recognizing and honoring the contributions of all its members.
