SMVDU Faculty delivers Talk at ASME Webinar on Additive Manufacturing

Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq (Assistant Professor, SME) delivered an invited talk on ‘New Product Development & Additive Manufacturing during a webinar hosted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, India Section on 22^nd November 2023. Dr. Haq spoke about fundamental concepts of New Product Development (NPD), and the technology of Additive Manufacturing (AM). Further, the mechanical aspects of AM parts such as tensile, compressive, and tribological properties were also discussed. The talk was attended by 150+ participants from across the globe. Also, the research work carried out in the area of Additive manufacturing was shared with the participants. A detailed discussion with the participants in the question and answer session was also held. Dr. Haq thanked the ASME India section and SMVDU authorities.
