NSS Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University celebrated International Non-Violence Day

NSS unit of Shri Mata Vishno Devi University, Katra celebrated Gandhi Jayanti as International Non-Violence Day. NSS volunteers formed a Human chain to support Non-Violence in their lives. The event started with the welcome address by NSS coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar was the chief guest of the occasion and Dean of Students Welfare, Dr. R. K. Mishra was the guest of honor ofthe event. They shared their thoughts on the life of our great leaders Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji. A small documentory on Khadi was also displayed on the occasion. NSS volunteers, Ojashvi, Suhani and Akansha recited poems. NSS volunteers, Parvallika and Parakh Rajput anchored the whole event. More than 100 students actively participated in the event. Refreshment was also served at the end of the event.
