Mr. Vivek Sharma, HR Operations, India-based MNC RoundGlass solutions enlightened budding business graduates of School of Business on ‘Ethical Leadership’. Mr. Sharma has more than 15 years of experience in HR and has worked with brands including Nestle, Ranabaxy, HCL etc. The RoundGlass solutions include tools, experiences and content aimed at catalyzing conversations at the vanguard of the global wellbeing movement. Giving practical examples relating to organisation, Mr.Sharma discussed with students the process of ethical behaviour changes with time in organisations and deliberated on issue that how leadership attributes changes with time. He assimilated the students with strategies for becoming a better leader at their workday. The students raised various queries regarding legality, decision making in unethical scenario, etc. and motivated the students to expand their horizon of knowledge and get themselves prepared for future corporate challenges by keeping their learning mode on always. Deliberations on the question, how their knowledge gained during their degree programme will help them in future when they are supposed to meet the corporate expectations?, results into excellent productive and effective outcome during the webinar. aa Earlier, Mr. Varun Sharma, alumnus of School of Business interacted with the budding business graduates carrying Human Resource Management specialisation. Mr. Sharma is having 14 years of experience in Human Resource Management of which 9 years in Telecom and 5 years in IT. Presently, Mr. Sharma is working as Circle HR Head for J&K and HPH with Bharti Infratel Limited. It is pertinent to mention that Mr. Varun Sharma is Business Graduate of School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University of its first batch (2006) and come from a very humble background. In his online Webinar session, he held the interaction with students on ‘Training and Development’ evaluation methods adopted in organisations. He specifically briefed the students regarding the application of returns on investment method of training and development practised by different organisations. He also motivated the students to use the time productively and remain focus on their ultimate goal of life. Participating students raised round of queries related to practical complexities issues generated in the day to day working of a business organisation like training need assessment processes, client evaluation, Levels of Evaluation, RoI estimation methodology, Methods to isolate the effects of training, etc.
