The Vigilance Awareness Week was observed from 26.10.2021 to 01.11.2021 throughout the country, themed, “Independent India@75: Self Reliance with Integrity” also commemorating the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.The NSS, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, conducted different activities to celebrate vigilance awareness week. The Run for Unity was organized for students, faculty and staff members in collaboration with the Board for Sports Activities. The run was flagged off by the Vice Chancellor, Padma Shree, Prof. R.K. Sinha.
A session on vigilance awareness was also conducted for students. The various activities conducted during the session including screening of videos related to corruption in daily life, slogan writing, sharing of views on corruption by students and faculty members, etc. To spread awareness about complaints under PIDPI (Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers) posters were displayed at various offices of the university. Online “Integrity Pledge” was also taken by university employees during the week available at CVC’s website. Offline Integrity pledge ceremony was also conducted for class four employees of the university.
