SMVDU Researcher declared Qualified for the Award of Ph.D. Degree

Ms. Sneha, D/O Shamboo Nath Raina has been declared qualified for the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the School of Computer Science & Engineering by Shri MataVaishno Devi University, Katra, J&K. She has worked on the topic, titled “Classification in Hyperspectral images using Hybridized Transfer learning approach and Nature Inspired Algorithm”, under the supervision of Dr. Ajay Kaul, Associate Professor School of Computer Science & Engineering, SMVDU. During her Ph.D. program, she has published research papers indexed in SCI/SCIE ranked journals. She has presented research papers in various International Conferences. Ms. Sneha, expressed her gratitude to the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-III) scheme for providing fellowship during her Ph.D. program. She acknowledged the School of Computer Science and Engineering for providing her with all the necessary facilities and support for conducting her research work. Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, and other committee members congratulated the scholar and wished her a bright future ahead.
