The NSS unit of SMVDU organized a cleanliness drive and Yoga session at water bowli near Shool village. The activity was conducted under “Yoga Mahotsav” in which yoga sessions have been organized on campus and in nearby villages for the last one and half months. The NSS volunteers firstly cleaned the nearby area of the water bowli. After the cleanliness drive, a yoga session was conducted by yoga instructor Shri Gurmel. The session started with “OM uccharan” and “Gayatri mantra”. It was a mesmerizing experience to relax body and mind by the sounds of birds and running water in bowli. Programme Officer, NSS Dr. Rajiv Kumar was also present during the session along with 30 volunteers.
