SMVDU Hosts Brainiac Challenge-2023 Quiz Competition

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) held the Brainiac Challenge-2023, a quiz competition engaging 56 students. The participants, organized into 14 teams representing diverse schools such as Business, Economics, English, Physics, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, demonstrated their intellectual prowess. Dr. Deepak Jain, serving as the quiz master, presented a diverse range of questions encompassing General Knowledge, Science, History, Culture, Management, and Engineering. The competition was not only a test of academic knowledge but also a platform for students to showcase their multidisciplinary understanding.  The team of Amook, Ishika, Mahi, and Deepali from the School of Biotechnology were the winners. The event witnessed active participation and enthusiasm from all students, highlighting their passion for learning. Dr. Arti Maini, the organising secretary, worked in collaboration with faculty members from various departments to ensure the smooth execution of the challenge. Expressing gratitude, Dr. Rashi Taggar acknowledged the support of Prof. Pragati Kumar, the Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, for fostering initiatives that contribute to the holistic development of SMVDU students. The Brainiac Challenge-2023 stands as a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing academic excellence and fostering a vibrant learning community.
