Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Faculty, School of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra has been declared qualified for the award of degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering by I.K.G. Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab. He carried out his research on the topic, titled, “Numerical Study on Worn Hydrodynamic Journal Bearing under Static and Transient Loading”, under the supervision of Dr. R.K. Awasthi, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, B.C.E.T Gurdaspur, Punjab.
