School of Civil Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), organized an international webinar on Systems Engineering for Wastewater Treatment and Asset Management on campus. Dr. Kirti M. Yenkie, Assistant Professor, Rowan University, USA, delivered an expert lecture. Dr. Kirti described the advanced methodologies to design the wastewater treatment systems used in the USA. The speaker also described the methods that could be adopted according to Indian conditions.The webinar motivated the students to think beyond the books and understand the new developments in Environmental Engineering. The organizing team, including Dr. Vaibhav Sapkal, Coordinator and Dr. Rahul Sharma, Co-coordinator, and the Head, SoCE thanked the expert for guiding and motivating students. Mr. Gautam Narula, Organizing Secretary of the webinar delivered the vote of thanks.
