Prof. Supran Kumar Sharma of the School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University conducted a session in the Short Term Course on Research Methodology for University and College teachers organized by the Centre for Professional Development in Higher Education, UGC – Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), University of Delhi. In this one-week duration program, Prof. Sharma has taken two sessions focusing on the varied dimensions of Multivariate Analysis and provided insights into the diverse aspects of the topic. During the sessions, Prof. Sharma emphasized that the quality of research work depends on the appropriateness of the research tools and as per the nature of the data as well as the objectives of the research work in hand. For holistic and comprehensive development of research aptitude exposure to contemporary research tools is a mandatory obligation. Prof. Sharma mentioned that in the present era of advanced software, simulators, artificial intelligence, etc. it is exceptionally critical to choose suitable research modeling and tools to prescribe policy suggestions implicating from the research analysis. In the prestigious program, faculty members of different nooks and corners of the country and different streams including Sociology, Management, Product Design, Chemistry, English, and Economics from various Universities and Colleges attended the program and participated enthusiastically with a lot of queries, comments, discussion, etc. A lot of questions were asked by the participants which were satisfactorily replied to by the resource person in a creative and constrictive manner.
