Prof. S. K. Samdarshi, from Centre for energy engineering, Central University of Jharkhand visited the Department of Energy Management, SMVDU for a 02 days lecture series on 03rd October 2017 as Adjunct Professor. He was felicitated d by Dr. Sanjeev Anand, Head DoEM, SMVDU.
Prof. Samdarshi (Ph.D. from IIT Delhi) works in the field of Solar Energy: Experimental and theoretical (computer simulation) studies on different solar systems and applications; Solar Pond; Solar Cooker; Solar Photo catalytic Detoxification/Disinfection; New generation Organic PV Cells. Energy Materials. His current activities include studies on development of organic PV cells and development of new materials for various energy applications.
Prof. Samdarshi, delivered a lecture on Solar thermal applications, Energy scenario in India and World, Energy materials and key infrastructure for energy studies to the students of M.Tech. (Renewable Energy) as well as various Faculty members, Dr. Vineet Tyagi, Dr. Ankush Gupta, Mr. Yatheshth Anand and Mr. Amit Verma etc of SMVDU, were also present during the sessions.
