NSS unit at SMVD university organized week-long plogging sessions as a part of “FIT India” and “Clean Campus Drive” initiatives. The drive started daily in the morning at 6:30 am with a fitness programme and afterwards all volunteers performed activities related to cleanliness inside the campus. Volunteers were engaged in various activities during cleanliness like sweeping of roads and other pathways, collecting leaves, making water collection area for small plants etc. Daily volunteers were assigned different groups and each group was allocated one location to be cleaned in the campus. Around 50 volunteers participated daily in the said programme. NSS Coordinator and Co-cordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar and Dr. kamaldeep appreciated the efforts of NSS student coordinators for organizing these sessions.
