SMVDU: National Webinar on Sustainable Energy: An Environmental Approach and Solar Photovoltaic: Nano fluid Approach has been organised by School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU on 23.09.2024. In the inaugural function; Prof. Balbir Singh, Dean (AA) and (i/c) Dean FoE of SMVDU has presided over the function, delivered his presidential address highlighted the importance of sustainable development goals on clean and affordable energy practice at local and national level. Also, importance of collaborative work in this area between SMVDU and Puducherry Technological University. Prof. Yathesth Anand, Head, School of Mechanical Engineering has advised the students to clean and zero emission energy conversion system at micro and macro level approach. Prof. (Dr.) P. Mathiazhagan, from Puducherry Technical University has been delivered two technical sessions as (i) Overview of Conventional and Sustainable Energy – An Environmental Approach and (ii) Improvement on Efficiency of Solar Photovoltaic – Nano fluid Approach, during forenoon and afternoon to the students of SMVDU. Perception on need of sustainable energy through environment approach has discussed with day-to-day engineering applications for better understanding. Also, solar photovoltaic cell performance enhancement through nano fluid. At end; questions and answer session given the students for clearing the doubts. Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Organising Secretary has delivered the sincere thanks to the speaker Prof. (Dr.) P.
