Faculty from University of Arizona, USA delivers lecture at School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU

Dr. Subham Badhyal, Assistant Professor, University of Arizona delivered an invited lecture at School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU on the topic “Engineering in Medicine”. The speaker dealt with various engineering aspects of medicine such as biomechanics, design and development of orthopedic implants and rehabilitation devices and human motion analysis. The speaker apart from sharing his vast research experience also motivated the students and scholars present to take up interdisciplinary projects of social importance. The speaker also had a detailed discussion with the faculty about possible future collaboration and academic opportunities for students abroad. Prof. E. Muthuswamy (Head, SME) and Dr. Ankush Anand (Associate Professor, SME) were present during the lecture. Event was attended by faculty, scholars and students of School of Mechanical Engineering.The event was coordinated by joint efforts of Dr. Sanjay Mohan (Asst. Prof.,SME), Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq (Asst. Prof.,SME) and Dr. Ankush Raina (Asst. Prof.,SME). Dr. Subham Badhyal also interacted with Dr. Yugal Khajuria (Dean International and Alumni Affairs, SMVDU.
