A two-week duration DST-NIMAT Project sponsored National level Faculty Development Program on ‘Entrepreneurship Development’ concluded at SMVD University. The event was organized by Faculty Development Centre-SMVDU in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU).
Padma Shri Prof. R K Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU appreciated the contents delivered during this wide-ranging Programme and conveyed best wishes to the participants. During the valedictory function, the Coordinator, FDC, SMVDU & Dean of Management, Dr. Suparn Kumar Sharma addressed the participants and assured of the continued excellence in the future programmes of FDC. Earlier, an overview of the upcoming programmes of FDC, SMVDU was presented in brief by Dr, Ratna Chandra, Member FDC, SMVDU and Coordinator of the programme, the Co-Coordinator of the workshop Dr, Jyoti Sharma conducted the proceedings of the function and the vote of thanks was presented by the Co-organizing Secretary Dr. Shazia Bukhari.
During the various sessions conducted, the participants were given wide exposure of knowledge and experience sharing by the resource persons from different Universities/ Institutes/Industries including Manipal Jaipur, NITIE, Mumbai, JKEDI, Edfora Group, Delhi, The Entrepreneurship School, Gurgaon, GNDU Amritsar, Tawi Arc Electrodes Pvt. Ltd., Styam Cattle feed, Jammu, Mannat Products, University of Jammu, etc. apart from resource persons of SMVDU.
