The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi during his address to the nation on 12th May, 2020 called upon all the Indians to focus upon making India a self-reliant nation. He called this campaign as Aatm Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (Self-Reliant India Movement). The five pillars of Aatm Nirbhar Bharat are Economy, Infrastructure, System, Demography and Demand. The special economic package that has been released by the government under this campaign will benefit various sectors of the country. With this backdrop, the webinar on Sectoral Experiences and Challenges for Self-Reliant India (Aatm Nirbhar Bharat) under the webinar Series Strategies for Leading the Change: Post COVID19 Pandemic Response of India is being organised to discuss the sectoral experiences and challenges in tourism, telecom, agriculture, banking and retail sectors to march towards self-reliant growth.
