SMVDU Katra: Dr. Narendra Kumar Bairwa, Assistant Professor, School of Biotechnology, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University has been awarded a project of about 50 lakh by SERB – Science and Engineering Research Board, New Delhi, an arm of Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. He will be working on “Engineering of Pro-biotic Yeast for Human Therapeutics”. It is pertinent to mention that Dr. Bairwa is a Ramalinga Swami Fellow and his research areas are Genome Stability Regulation, Protein-Protein interactions for drug development, and Genome-editing technologies etc. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain congratulated Dr. Bairwa on this achievement.
