SMVDU is proud to announce that Mr. Harsh Raj, a final-year student of the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, has been awarded the “Emerging Talent in Open Source” at the National FOSSEE Awards 2025, held at IIT Bombay on 17th July 2025 under the FOSSEE initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Harsh Raj and his team mates from the same school recently won the IEEE YESIST12 2025 Prelims and are set to represent the India in the IEEE YESIST12 2025 Grand Finale, which will be hosted in Malaysia. We thank the FOSSEE team, especially Prof. Kannan M. Moudgalya and Harsh Raj Mr. Rajesh Kushalkar, for their support and encouragement. Harsh’s success is a proud moment for SMVDU and a testament to the university’s School of Electronics & focus on research, innovation, and excellence.
