Ms. Sukirti, a research scholar from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), presented a poster at the International Conference on Advances in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Structural Biology (ICABSB-2025), organized by IIT Roorkee in collaboration with the Biotech Research Society of India (BRSI). The conference was held at IIT Roorkee from December 11–14, 2025.
The poster titled “Potential Applications of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles towards Wastewater Treatment and Antibacterial Activity” was presented among around 300 posters by national and international participants. The study highlighted the potential of zinc oxide nanoparticles for wastewater treatment and antibacterial applications, contributing to sustainable environmental solutions.
The work was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Indu Bhushan, and the scholar acknowledged the research support and facilities provided by SMVDU. Participation in this international conference reflects the university’s growing engagement in impactful scientific research.
