National Service Scheme, (NSS) SMVDU organised Breast Cancer Awareness Program on campus. NSS volunteers discussed with housekeeping and security women of university that how to detect breast cancer and also explained them how they can prevent it by regular check-ups and proper care. Causes of breast cancer were also informed and at what age they should get their checkup, and its symptoms of breast cancer. Every woman needs to maintain a healthy weight, eat more vegetables, etc. This programme was successfully conducted by the NSS Volunteers under the guidance of NSS Programme Coordinator, Dr Rajiv Kumar. Vice chancellor, SMVDU, Prof. R. K. Sinha appreciated the efforts of team NSS.
