Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), organized an engaging Alumni Interaction Session with Mr. Nishant Raman, Management Consultant (Supply Chain & Operations) at Accenture ASG, Berlin, Germany, and an alumnus of the B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering Batch of 2015.
Joining live from Germany, Mr. Raman shared his inspiring journey from pursuing Mechanical Engineering at SMVDU to a successful global career, outlining his experiences in Europe’s logistics and operations sector. He delivered a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation on career paths after bachelor’s degree and emerging opportunities in Germany, offering practical guidance to students aspiring for international education and careers.
Drawing on his professional experience at leading organizations such as Amazon Logistics, ASOS, and Gorillas, and his current role at Accenture, Mr. Raman discussed supply chain optimization, digital transformation, and global trade management. His session provided students with deep insights into the intersection of technology, design, and business strategy on a global scale.
The interaction concluded with an engaging Q&A, where students sought valuable advice on career planning, skill development, and studying abroad. The event was coordinated by the Office of Alumni and International Affairs, SMVDU, under its initiative to strengthen alumni–student engagement and global networking. Prof. Yugal Kajuria (Dean International and Alumni Affairs, SMVDU) and Dr. Yatheshth Anand (Head, SME) conveyed their thanks to the alumni.
