SMVDU Mechanical Engineering Alumnus Donates ₹1.75 Lakh to Support Innospark 2025

SMVDU:

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) proudly acknowledges the generous contribution of Mr. Dhananjay Singh (B.Tech., Mechanical Engineering, 2014 Batch), Director of Chenab Valley Agro & Infra Private Limited, who has donated ₹1.75 lakh in support of the SMVDU Technology Business Incubation Centre (TBIC) for the upcoming Innospark 2025 event.

Innospark 2025 is a prestigious technology-driven startup competition organized by SMVDU-TBIC, Kakryal, Jammu & Kashmir. The event aims to provide a platform for aspiring innovators to present groundbreaking ideas, compete for prestigious prizes, and connect with industry leaders and investors.

As part of this initiative, the prize money for the competition is being sponsored by SMVDU alumni. The top three winning startup ideas will be awarded:

  • 1st Prize: ₹1,00,000/-
  • 2nd Prize: ₹50,000/-
  • 3rd Prize: ₹25,000/-

The University extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Singh for his remarkable support and commitment to his alma mater. Officials including Prof. Yugal Khajuria (Dean, International and Alumni Affairs), Dr. Yatheshth Anand (Head, SME), Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq (Associate Dean, International and Alumni Affairs), and Dr. Sanjay Mohan (CEO, SMVDU-TBIC) expressed their appreciation for his generous contribution.
