SMVDU Mechanical Engineering Alumni Play Key Roles in ISRO Chandrayaan-3 Space Mission

In a remarkable achievement for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), two of its distinguished alumni were integral members of the prestigious Chandrayaan-3 Space Mission, showcasing the institution’s commitment to producing exceptional engineering talent. The mission, aimed at advancing India’s space exploration capabilities, has been hailed as a significant milestone in the country’s aerospace endeavours. Mr. Sumit Ratan and Mr. Arnab Lahiri both SMVDU graduates with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and currently working with ISRO as scientist contributed their expertise to different facets of the mission. Their commendable efforts exemplify the quality of education and skills imparted by SMVD University, positioning its alumni as pioneers in cutting-edge fields. Faculty and staff members of the school, Prof. E.
