The NSS unit of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University organised a month-long meditation session under the initiative of “Sewa Parv.” The activity encouraged students to begin their day with peace, positivity, and discipline.
The sessions were highly attended by students, reflecting their growing interest in meditation and healthy routines. Anapana meditation, mainly practiced in the morning sessions, focuses on mindful breathing and calming the mind. It teaches students to observe their breath quietly, which brings peace and clarity. The practice was kept simple so that even beginners could easily follow.
Students shared that meditation reduced stress, improved energy, and sharpened their concentration. The month-long effort showed that even a few minutes of meditation can bring big changes.
The event reflected the NSS unit’s continued efforts to promote well-being, healthy habits, and a balanced lifestyle among youth.
