NSS SMVDU organized a human chain formation of “JAI HIND” on the 165th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose also known as Parakram Diwas. The event started with sharing information on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by the NSS Programme coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar and by the two NSS volunteers, namely Ayush Arya and Sadhvi Sharma. The event was organzied in the university stadium and around 350 students participated in the human chain formation. The event ended with “Vande Matram” and slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. A quiz competition was also organized for students on the Parakram Diwas. The quiz competition was an amicable contest. Students gladly took part in it. The event was conducted successfully by the NSS volunteers. Vice Chancellor Prof. R.K. Sinha appreciated the efforts of team NSS for organizing the event.
