Ms. Monika Sharma, a Research Scholar at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, delivered an insightful lecture on her research topic, ‘Android Malware Detection’ at Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan. Ranked 227th in the world, the university provided an excellent platform for Ms. Sharma to discuss different Android malware attacks that occurred over the past year, including how the Covid-19 pandemic provided an opportunity for hackers to attack Android smartphones.During her lecture, Ms. Sharma discussed various malware detection techniques, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, and hybrid analysis, as well as machine learning methods for Android malware detection.
