A 7-day training program, aimed at enhancing computer literacy among hostel caretakers and supervisors, concluded successfully today. Titled ‘Foundational Training: MS Word, MS Excel, and Email Basics’, the initiative was designed to improve efficiency and productivity in hostel management through the development of skills in document creation, data management, and email communication. Prof. R.K. Mishra, Dean of Students, led the opening session motivating participants to hone their skills. The resource persons Dr. Sonika, Dr. Sunanda, Dr. Sakshi, Dr. Arti, Dr. Shafaq, Dr. Shazia, Dr. Pooja, Dr. Purnima and Dr. Deepak offered hands-on sessions on MS Word, MS Excel, email basics and note writing. The training was geared towards enabling better record-keeping and streamlined communication with the administration, addressing the specific needs of hostel management. Dr. Sonika Gupta and Dr. Rashi Taggar successfully conducted this training program and expressed their gratitude to Prof. Pragati Kumar, the Vice-Chancellor of SMVD University, who consistently offers guidance and inspiration for such programs as university’s dedication to empowering its staff in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat Abhiyan.
