Civil Engineering Student of SMVDU presented Paper in the Indian Geotechnical Conference

Mr. Abhivek Singh, a final year student of the School of Civil Engineering (SoCE), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University presented a technical paper at Indian Geotechnical Conference, 2023. IGC 2023, which was organised by Indian Geotechnical Society, Roorkee Chapter, is the annual national flagship event of Indian Geotechnical Society. Abhivek Singh worked under the guidance of Mr. Srijan (Assistant Professor, SoCE) and Mr. Gautam Narula (Assistant Professor, SoCE) to prepare the paper titled ‘Behavioural Study of Reinforced Soft Soil Bed Supporting Embankment: Numerical Analysis’. The presented paper stands a chance of getting published in Lecture Notes of Civil Engineering which is a Springer based publication and also Scopus Indexed. This achievement reflects their dedication and the quality of their research, and it serves as a testament to the rigorous academic standards and opportunities provided by the School of Civil Engineering at SMVDU.
