Laboratory Infrastructure, School of Energy Management

The Energy Management School is passionately committed to addressing the energy security concerns of developing nations, particularly India, where the need for continuous, diverse, and cost-effective energy supply is critical. With a focus on researching sustainable and efficient energy systems, the school explores varied topics such as Exergy Analysis of Refrigeration Systems, Energy Efficiency and Moisture Control in Buildings, and Optimization of Photovoltaic Systems. We delve deep into the intricacies of solar thermal collectors, the application of Phase Change Materials, and the Characterization of Solid Biomass in Composite Climates. Our aim is to foster innovative thinking, rigorous research, and effective problem-solving in the field of energy management, providing tangible solutions that balance the need for development with the preservation of our environment.

The School currently has the following laboratories:

In order to conduct research work in the above mentioned areas and also to carry out M. Tech. research projects in near future, following research facilities will be created:

  • Energy Modeling & Simulation Laboratory.
  • Non-conventional Energy Sources Laboratory.
