The students of B. Tech. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), undertook an industrial visit to Dabur India Ltd., one of the leading FMCG companies in the country. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industrial automation, robotics applications, and modern manufacturing practices. The students were accompanied by Dr. Yatheshth Anand, Head, School of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. Amit Sinha, Assistant Professor, SME and Mr. Sudesh, who guided and mentored the students throughout the visit. The visit was made possible through the coordinated efforts of Dr. Ankush Raina, Coordinator, B. Tech. Robotics and AI, and Mr. B. K. Bhatia, Training and Placement Officer, SMVDU. Dr. Raina expressed satisfaction over the students’ enthusiastic participation and the valuable insights gained during the industrial exposure. The faculty and students expressed their sincere gratitude to Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, for his constant encouragement and support for facilitating the visit. The visit proved to be an enriching experience, enhancing students’ understanding of industrial robotics, automation systems, and AI applications in modern manufacturing.
