Ms. Akshma Chadha of SMVDU Qualifies for the Award of PhD

Ms. Akshma Chadha has been declared qualified for the award of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and Engineering by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU).The candidate worked on the topic, titled “Effective Learning Models for Identifying Suicidal Ideation in Individuals on Social Media” under the supervision of Dr. Baijnath Kaushik, Faculty, School of Computer Science and Engineering, SMVDU. She has published her research work in SCI and Scopus journals, and also presented papers in international conferences. The candidate thanked Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for granting her the fellowship during her Ph.D. program, and for providing all necessary support and facilities for carrying out the research work. Prof. RK Sinha, VC, SMVDU, Dr. Ajay Kaul (Dean Faculty of Engineering), and other members of the committee congratulated the candidate and wished her a bright future ahead.
