Dr. Kaushik of SMVDU Delivers a Talk on Data Science & Big Data

Dr. Baijnath Kaushik, Faculty, School of CSE, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), was invited as a Resource Person in the AICTE sponsored Short Term Training Program (STTP), on Data Science & Big Data at PPG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

During the talk, Dr. Kaushik emphasized “Ensemble Learning Techniques: Random Forest, Gradient Boost and Extreme Gradient Boost Algorithm.” He discussed the use of ensemble learning models for solving classification and regression problems, and how models improve the accuracy by minimizing residual errors. The participants, including faculty members and students, appreciated the talk and thanked Dr. Kaushik for sharing his knowledge.
