Ms. Bhushan Sharma, Research Scholar, School of Languages and Literature, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University has presented a paper in the 6th World Conference on Women’s Studies (WCWS 2020) held on 27th – 28th July, a virtual Conference in Zoom. More than 60+ delegates and students participated in the conference, which was held under the theme of “Overcoming Women’s Subordination: Socialization, Law and Structural Inequalities.”
Ms. Bhushan’s presentation was entitled “Dalit Women’s Life Narratives and the Outsider Within: Toward a Literary Practice of Dalit Feminist Standpoint.” She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Anurag Kumar, Faculty, School of Languages and Literature, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.
