SMVDU Katra: Dr. Kirtti Ranjan Paltasingh, Assistant Professor, School of Economics, SMVD University, Katra, has been awarded ‘Prof. D.R. Gadgil Memorial Annual Prize’ for the most outstanding article published in Artha Vijnana by a single author below the age of 40 years for the article for the year 2016, entitled as “Role of Education in Technology Adoption: Evidence from Paddy Growers in Odisha” (Vol. LVIII, No. 1, March 2016, pp. 1-18). The award carries a cash amount of Rs 10,000 and a citation. The journal Artha Vijnana is published by Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune.
Dr. Paltasingh’s research interests are broadly in Agricultural Economics and Development Economics. He has published more than 15 research papers in journals of National and International repute.
