School of Civil Engineering (SoCE), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, organised a cultural event “Adhara” to highlight the importance of Civil Engineering in day-to-day life and to give a platform to the students to showcase their talent. The event was inaugurated by Head of Department, Dr. VK Dogra, and motivated the students through his talk. The event was als attended by the faculty members. The event included talks on the background and prospects of Civil Engineering, and cultural performances in the Matrika Auditorium, SMVDU. Final year students, Akshat Mahajan, Ashish Goswami, Jaiveer Singh Manhas, Paras Kundal, and Satyam Nanda coordinated the event under the guidance of Mr. Srijan (Assistant Professor, SoCE).
